Let us know about airport light signals in brief.
1.
Taxi Lights – After an aircraft
leaves the gate, an initial challenge faced by pilots is navigating the plane
to the runways for takeoff. Both day and night, the airport light signals make
it easy to navigate around the maze of taxiways.
2.
Blue lights – Taxiway edge lights
are usually blue and the blue taxi lights are easy to spot from the terminal
and are often the first airport lights seen by passengers. Also, they are
illuminated after dark and bad weather.
3.
Green lights – In-ground centerline lights are often
installed at busy airports and airports that experience bad weather to enhance
taxi guidance and safety. Unlike blue lights, green ones are very bright and
pilots can see and follow them in the worst weather conditions.
